Troubleshooting

If it is not possible to extend the monitor to the TV in Windows, this could be caused by the following:

  • The graphics card is not connected to the TV (or video recorder)
  • The cables are not correctly connected or are not in the plugs securely enough
  • The TV set is not switched on
  • The computer may need to be restarted after connection.

The image from the PC is not shown on a normal channel but on an HDMI channel. Therefore, locate the button marked “Source” on the TV remote and scroll through until you have found the correct HDMI channel.
